The Aesthetic Mastery is an educational initiative to help practitioners stay updated on the latest aesthetic procedures in demand while learning how to manage them using hyaluronic acid fillers effectively. The 2nd episode of the BioScience-ISAPS webinar series gave insight into a leading patient concern - The Hip Dips and their straightforward modification with the help of HYAcorp Body Fillers.
The "hip dips" are the inward curve that can sometimes be found below the hip and above the thighs. While some flaunt these "violin hips" with pride, many patients find this a distracting physical feature and wish to correct it for an elegant hourglass figure. Hyaluronic acid body fillers are popular for gluteal augmentation, but many additional indications can benefit from injecting these body fillers to ensure high patient satisfaction.
HYAcorp is one of the leading brands providing hyaluronic acid-based body fillers. It strives to meet its commitment to long-term safety and high patient satisfaction with regular training and educational initiatives for the practitioners in addition to maintaining quality products.
In this episode, attendees were able to gain a unique insight into non-surgically correcting these hip dips using body fillers administered by injections. Dr. Sofia Carvalho, an experienced plastic surgeon, and trainer for buttock augmentation procedures in Portugal, briefly explained the anatomy of the hips. This session was followed by Dr. Matt Stefanelli, a double French & European board-certified Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon based in the UAE. He successfully demonstrated the injection techniques for correcting the hip dips with hyaluronic acid body fillers. They were then joined by Dr. Piero Crabai, Italian Plastic Surgeon and ISAPS member, to have an open discussion over the technical aspects of non-surgical hip dip correction with HYAcorp body fillers. The doctors extensively discussed their preferred techniques, combining HA body fillers with other treatments and other important technicalities.
The live session was concluded with an active discussion among the experts and attendees as part of the Q&A session. Many of the questions that couldn't be answered during the webinar were later explained in detail in this blog post.
